THE EARLY DAYS

I’m an American-French video editor, based in Los Angeles. I was born in London, UK where I first discovered my love of film. Some of my childhood favorite movies were Honey We Shrunk the Kids, Shrek, and Spy Kids. My cinematic taste has evolved a bit since then, but not by much. That’s where I started making my own short films that I edited in iMovie. My first film ever was an alien invasion thriller titled “Alien Invasion” - I had a flair for original titles.

UPPING THE EDIT

As my passion for filmmaking grew, so did my love of editing. I left iMovie behind, along with my hopes for an Alien Invasion sequel, and I dove head-first into the world of Adobe Premiere Pro - the editing software I use to this day.

HOLLYWOOD, HERE I COME!

At the age of 18, I moved to California where I went to Pitzer College, a liberal arts college in Claremont, CA with a strong Media Studies program. I took advanced editing courses, and kept making my own films. I made a feature-length film noir thriller by the name of “Heart of Vice,” which was supposed to be my ticket to Hollywood. It was going to be up there with the likes of Following by Christopher Nolan and Reservoir Dogs by Quentin Tarantino. Instead, it gathered dust in one of my many hard drives along with dozens of festival rejection letters… and my hopes for an Alien Invasion sequel.

finding my CALLING

My follow-up movie was a short film that I wrote, directed and edited for my senior thesis. It was a sci-fi thriller by the name of Sono, which made me one of the select few students to graduate with Honors in Media Studies that year. The film also won the Silver Award for “Best Editing” at the NYC Indie Film Awards. To this day, I’m not entirely sure what that means, but “Silver” sounded prestigious to me at the time, so I ran with it. This gave me the idea to take my silver-status skillset and parlay that into an editing career.

the career

For the past 7 years, I have edited projects for top brands such as Gillette, Walmart, Toyota, Fox Sports, TNT, MotorTrend, Meta Elevate and more. I was one of the lead editors for the HBO series The Shop, produced by LeBron James, which won the 2021 Emmy Award for Outstanding Edited Sports Series. In 2022, I was part of the motion graphics team for the documentary Dreamland: The Burning of Black Wall Street, which won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Graphic Design and Art Direction.

In the film world, I have so far specialized in short films - the most recent of which being Sweetbriar, which is an official selection at the 2025 SXSW Film Festival.
